Addressing the medical and dental needs in impoverished areas is essential for Bethel’s Global Reach, as these concerns are often last on the financial priority list. Every donation received goes toward bolstering healthcare supplies and medication for treatment in impoverished areas worldwide.
In many countries spanning several continents, children are required to purchase uniforms to attend school, contributing to the illiteracy epidemic. In turn, this impacts the family’s quality of life and the community’s economic wellbeing. While the cost may seem minor to us, the financial burden is tremendous for those in other countries, especially families with multiple children. Your donation provides a pathway for children to become successful adults capable of reaching back to their communities.
Clean, safe drinking water isn’t as accessible as we may think. Today, over 1.5 billion people lack basic access to clean water. The impact results in sickness (waterborne diseases), physical ailments due to carrying water for prolonged distances, and missed educational opportunities. In Africa alone, 190 million children in 10 countries are at high risk of three water related threats: inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene related diseases. Help us provide clean water to children in not only Africa but throughout the world.
